Established in 2005 by two former Japaense soccer players, WACKO MARIA is influenced by our everyday experiences with music, film and art. Their pieces give a sense of romance and glamour, and they live by the idea that “one cannot create beautiful things nor lead a beautiful life without love, dreams, and passion”. The brand has seen many impressive collaborations, such as with the renowned independent film director, Jim Jarmush, and other artists such as Tsuyoshi Noguchii, Tim Barber, and Larry Clark.
