Kokūn, inspired by the word "cocoon", is a slow-fashion brand based out of India taking part in the Swadeshi movement which promotes the consumption of locally made goods. The textiles are made by local craftsmen with little-to-zero waste and natural dyes from flowers, leaves, and berries. Apart from sustainability, Kokūn has a been a huge advocate in shifting Indian streetwear from western styles to more traditional Indian patterns and shapes.
