4 Female-Owned Palestinian Brands to Keep Your Eye On

1.     MEERA ADNAN: Started by Meera Albaba in 2018, MEERA ADNAN is Palestinian brand operated from Gaza that seeks to reclaim the female Palestinian narrative. Using political and religious imagery, Meera Albaba has reflected her own struggle living in a city under siege through her clothes. 2.     Nöl Collective: Nöl, the Arabic word for loom, represents an integral part of Palestine’s textile history, which Nol Collective is trying to revive. According to their story, it “signifies the intimate connection between Palestinians and their land”, and their clothes are made using the loom. Their products range from embroidered t-shirts, beautifully made blouses, dresses, earrings, and much more!  

3.     All Things Mochi: Founded by Palestinian designer Ayah Tabari, this brand empowers and celebrates women from different parts of the world by using embroidery patterns with cultural significance as inspiration for the clothing design. 

4. Reemami: Reema Al Abanna, a Palestinian raised in the UAE, created Reemami with sustainability at the forefront of her mind. She uses repurposed fabrics and uses a season-less approach to reduce unnecessary production. Her clothes are classy and professional with fun pops of color.
